Reprogram Your Mind (video)

reprogram your mind

Today I wanted to share with you guys how I reprogrammed my mind to go after my dreams without giving in to fear. So many of us have the ability to do great things in life, yet fear and doubt hold us back from giving life our all. Hopefully, this mental trick will help you, just as it’s helped me.

Below is a transcript of the video above.

I’ve recently shifted perspectives in my life. I think it’s safe to assume we all want better for ourselves, but fear and doubt hold us back from truly going after what we want in our lives. But one day it hit me that if I don’t try my absolute hardest to make my dreams come true, then that’s disrespecting life itself. We are only here for a quick blip in time. We don’t know why we’re here but who cares? We get to experience being alive and conscious and we have the ability to create our own world. There’s almost nothing that we can’t do. So, to throw that away all out of the fear of failure is an insult to creation itself.

Once I viewed complacency as disrespecting life, it’s been impossible for me to sit back and watch my life pass before my eyes. There’s so much I want to do in life, and I know for a fact all of it will come true. The only thing I need to do to ensure that outcome is to stay focused on the path. Keep up with the daily routines. Now I’m not saying you need to be a part of hustle culture and to work 24/7, rest is just as important. But at the very least on a daily, it’s important to show gratitude and give yourself affirmations. It may sound cheesy, but until you can look at yourself and tell you everything you want to hear, you’re never gonna hear it from anyone else. And you shouldn’t have to hear it from anyone else. Because once you take care of yourself, you won’t need anything from anyone. You’ll be around friends and family only because you genuinely want to. Because they genuinely make life better.

All is Mind, so once you shift your perspective, everything in life becomes easier. Start small. Really sit down and think about the life that you want. The life that you deserve. And you do deserve it, you have to believe that. You’d be surprised to find out how many of your interests are not even your own. You could be influenced by your friends, family, relationships, coworkers, whoever. Do you really wanna work in that field or is that what your parents wanted? You do not owe your parents your life just because THEY chose to have YOU. You can honor and respect your family without giving up your dreams. And if you do lose people in the process, it’ll be sad, but not as sad as living your life for someone else.

The easiest way to figure out what it is that you actually enjoy doing is to write down all of the things you’d try if nobody would judge you for it. Anything in the world. Once you figure that out, start trying them out and see what feels right. And when you find it, that’s what’s truly meant for you. When you find the path you’re meant to be on, there’s no way you can fail because it was designed for you.

If there’s anything that we’ve learned in the last couple of years, it’s that life is fragile. And with the job market being what it is right now, there’s no perfect time to take a shot at your dreams.

There are only two options in this world. Create your own life or someone else will create it for you.
