How to Make Healthy Banana Pancakes

healthy banana pancakes

Iā€™m going to share with you how I make healthy banana pancakes! This is my go-to breakfast. Iā€™ve never been a huge pancake personā€¦ thereā€™s no real reason why. But banana pancakes have stolen my heart! And no, weā€™re not just adding bananas to pancake mix!

Itā€™s so simple, tastes great and is a healthier option than regular pancakes. All youā€™ll need is:

  • 1 banana
  • Ā½ a cup of uncooked oats
  • 2 eggs
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Vanilla power (if your banana isnā€™t too sweet)
  • Fresh fruit of your choice

I start by peeling my banana and mashing it up in a bowl with a fork. Mash it reeeealll good!

I then add 1 egg and mix the two ingredients together. Next, I toss in the uncooked oats and mix everything again. Once itā€™s all mixed well, I add the second egg.

Add some cinnamon powder and vanilla powder, however much youā€™d like. Mix all the ingredients together one last time and heat up your pan!

* If you want to make them mini pancakes, you can achieve this by using a spoon to pour the mixture into the pan and theyā€™ll be the perfect tiny size.

Once theyā€™re all golden brown and beautiful, theyā€™re done! I personally donā€™t like syrup so instead I just add fresh fruit on top to satisfy my sweet tooth. And since Iā€™ve never tried it with syrup, donā€™t get mad at me if you try it donā€™t like that combination!

This serving size does make quite a lot of pancakes, but because this version isnā€™t as heavy as regular pancakes, I eat the entire serving and itā€™s the perfect amount to leave me feeling satisfied.

Enjoy!
