Iām going to share with you how I make healthy banana pancakes! This is my go-to breakfast. Iāve never been a huge pancake personā¦ thereās no real reason why. But banana pancakes have stolen my heart! And no, weāre not just adding bananas to pancake mix!
Itās so simple, tastes great and is a healthier option than regular pancakes. All youāll need is:
- 1 banana
- Ā½ a cup of uncooked oats
- 2 eggs
- Cinnamon powder
- Vanilla power (if your banana isnāt too sweet)
- Fresh fruit of your choice
I start by peeling my banana and mashing it up in a bowl with a fork. Mash it reeeealll good!
I then add 1 egg and mix the two ingredients together. Next, I toss in the uncooked oats and mix everything again. Once itās all mixed well, I add the second egg.
Add some cinnamon powder and vanilla powder, however much youād like. Mix all the ingredients together one last time and heat up your pan!
* If you want to make them mini pancakes, you can achieve this by using a spoon to pour the mixture into the pan and theyāll be the perfect tiny size.
Once theyāre all golden brown and beautiful, theyāre done! I personally donāt like syrup so instead I just add fresh fruit on top to satisfy my sweet tooth. And since Iāve never tried it with syrup, donāt get mad at me if you try it donāt like that combination!
This serving size does make quite a lot of pancakes, but because this version isnāt as heavy as regular pancakes, I eat the entire serving and itās the perfect amount to leave me feeling satisfied.
